Limited Kravitz Edition from Steinway & Sons

Once again, Steinway & Sons, masters of piano and grand piano, have launched an astonishing musical work of art. This time with the musician and rock icon Lenny Kravitz. It is Kravitz himself who hand-picked several of the design elements on the luxurious piano called The Kravitz Grand.

– I wanted to mix a classic European style with African motifs because it will be such a beautiful mix, says Kravitz. The Kravitz Grand offers an interesting mix of African culture and the Parisian art scene of the 1920s. Everything delivered in high-quality materials and with Steinway & Son’s usual richness of detail.

– The piano Kravitz Grand is an incredibly interesting interpretation of a 167-year-old model. Lenny has been a fantastic partner with an extraordinary eye for design. The collaboration with Lenny made it possible for us to combine our history of creating the world’s best piano and at the same time get a unique design that no one has ever seen before, says Ron Losby, CEO of Steinway Musical Instruments.

Price: $ 500,000. Some of the proceeds from the sale go to the Harlem School for the Arts.
