According to a recent report, private jet sales are projected to soar to unprecedented heights this year, posing a growing burden on the planet.
This surge in sales not only raises environmental concerns but also highlights the issue of aviation tax evasion among many private jet owners. Furthermore, the report underscores the lack of regulations surrounding greenhouse gas emissions from private aviation. Over the past two decades, the global private jet fleet has more than doubled, and despite the temporary slowdown during the pandemic, private flights have rebounded, reaching an all-time high in the previous year. Consequently, this upward trend has contributed to a substantial increase in greenhouse gas emissions, intensifying environmental challenges.
