Dogs Are Always Welcome At Plant-Based Restaurant ChouChou

In spring 2024, the renowned plant-based restaurant ChouChou will be arriving at Fältöversten in Stockholm, Sweden, bringing its culinary excellence to the heart of Östermalm. Led by the skilled restaurant entrepreneur Robert Hållstrand and the renowned food personality and cookbook author Gustav “Jävligt gott” Johansson, ChouChou aims to provide exceptionally delicious food without compromising sustainability. The new establishment will welcome residents of Östermalm and visitors of all ages, including families with children, and of course – dogs.

ChouChou prides itself on serving world-class plant-based cuisine that pleasantly surprises even the most dedicated meat lovers. Influenced by European culinary traditions and flavors from around the globe, their menu features the latest advancements in plant-based food technology, including 3D-printed meat alternatives.

“We want to demonstrate that you don’t have to choose between delicious food and sustainability. Here, you can indulge in classic dishes and exceptional service without compromising anything,” says Gustav.

The new ChouChou restaurant at Fältöversten will offer a generous buffet featuring classic dishes from Swedish, French, Indian, and Italian cuisines. The à la carte menu will include popular items such as cream sauce meatballs, pizza, pasta, and burgers, along with delightful pastries and a well-stocked bar – all plant-based.

Additionally, the restaurant will cater to families in the area with special offerings like “After school” deals featuring happy hour prices on soft serve ice cream, pizza slices, and more. Fridays will be celebrated with taco nights, while weekends will feature a hearty family brunch. ChouChou aims to become a welcoming space for visitors of all ages at Fältöversten, including dogs. The establishment is set to open its doors in spring 2024, marking its second location. Currently, ChouChou operates at the Mood shopping center in central Stockholm and will open its third restaurant in the Tidningskvarteret at Marieberg in April.
